The party walls in this property were very thin, possibly only single skin as you could almost hear the words spoken by
the neighbours so we were asked to remedy the situation.
We did this by fitting stud-work into the alcoves, filled this with sound deadening insulation then a system of metal
resilient bars were fitted onto the stud-work on which to hang 2 layers of plasterboard, the outer layer of which was a
blue sound proofing type.
