This fireplace was rendered originally with hand-formed edges and was a little uneven and untidy. We were asked to
'tidy it up' which was done using render beading to make a frame. The frame was fixed once the old render was taken
off and filled out with render, all except for the face around frame which was left a few millimetres shallow to allow for
filling and sanding.
