With the ever increasing focus on the environment and our impact upon it, people are ever more aware of saving energy by properly insulating their houses, while effective this does need doing in the correct manner and with the appropriate materials. This largely depends on the construction of your property and to some extent whether you have cavity walls and damp proof membranes, the number of systems available are too numerous to mention but here are some pictures from the type we’ve used.This was for a solid wall construction with no damp proof membrane in the wall where the walls could only be insulated internally and the breath-ability of the wall needed to be retained.
